Project Objective
While working on the "Swap Style" project, I felt the need for a simple illustrations in app design. As a result, I started engaging in hand-drawing and subsequently proceeded with digitalizing the illustrations.
Before going digital, I drew a simple sketch illustrating SwapStyle's concept—two people exchanging clothes. This aimed to quickly convey the service's idea through hand-drawn visuals.
As I worked on it, I noticed the human figure looked a bit off. Also, the colors in the illustration were being overpowered by the bright yellow theme of the "Swap Style" app. I made adjustments to address these issues and created the final illustration.
With these adjustments, I managed to create an illustration that aligns with the overall meaning of Swap Style while harmonizing with the color palette. By incorporating this illustration into the app design, I aimed to make it easier for users to understand the service.
After completing all the previous steps, this is the onboarding screen in the app, utilizing the completed illustration.
